Selena Gomez talked about her life as a single girl, while also promoting her newest song, "Single Soon". In a conversation with Tony Fly and Symon, Selena talked about her feelings, standards and about the new album.
"I think we all go to that stage (when we think): 'Oh, it would be nice to have someone by my side,' and I understand that." But, I'm enjoying the present moment and I just want to be happy for myself", adding that when the right person becomes a part of her life, she should not be insecure.
Also, Sel emphasized the fact that there are standards and that the person who will be with him must fulfill them. "I think I have standards and I believe I live in a world where guys confuse standards with 'high expectations.' I'm not ashamed to say it: If you're going to be with me, I have x, y and z requests," she said, without mentioning the requests.
Now, we don't even want to think about how many times you've been asked about standards, or told that your standards are so high. Or when the moment will come when you will have someone by your side...
The star of "Only Murders In the Building" also spoke about the new album and said that it symbolizes and marks a new era for her, in her real and artistic life. The album has no sad songs and so far, not even a release date.
In short, Selena is here to show that it's fun to be single, so enjoy life and when your partner comes, but even if he doesn't, you're still happy and fulfilled.
