On October 18, students and faculty will return to the auditoriums to kick off the new school year. One of the main conditions of physical return to universities is the vaccine or, conversely, the submission of a PCR test.
For this to be successful, preparation is required by universities across the country, but how many are realistic?
During an interview for "Abc Live", the vice-rectors of the universities of Durrës, Elbasan and Vlora said that there will be a decision after the verification of vaccinated students or those equipped with negative tests.
"On Monday we start teaching in auditoriums and we will have a process of verifying tests and vaccines. Once we have a clearer situation we will proceed with the decisions. "There is not much room for decision as we know the lesson will start in the auditorium."
Others said that the first week of school would be enough with just one dose of the vaccine, although students would all have to wear masks.
"Since Monday, two vaccination centers have been set up near the faculties of our university. Students have been sensitized to be vaccinated. There was no mass turnout in these two days. In the first week we will be satisfied with one dose of vaccination. Students will all be in masks. Even pedagogues. Even the administrative staff. "Even with a dose of vaccination they can be part of the audience." - they concluded.
