Comedian Rezart Veleshnja has reacted to the news of his arrest. Through an "Instastory", Veleshnja gave his version of the event, emphasizing that it is about a vehicle that was lost.
He has denied being involved in fraud for the sale of this vehicle that is not in his ownership.
Greetings from Pogradec! The idea is that it is a vehicle that I have used. That vehicle was lost while I just used it and to this day it has been found who owned it. That's it! There is nothing here, no was arrested no… shame! It was a lost vehicle, that's all! I used it once, but I no longer have anything to do with that car after I got rid of it," he said.
Earlier, the police announced that the actor was detained by the Durrës Blues, as it is suspected that he fraudulently took a vehicle from a person and then sold it.
"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Durrës Police Station arrested the citizen R. V, a resident of Tirana, after he fraudulently took a vehicle from the citizen YT, and then sold it," the police announced.
Recently, actor Rezart Veleshnja was part of "Big Brother VIP Kosova", but was expelled with a black envelope.
