Private chat released: Doja Cat drama with 'Stranger Things' star explained

Doja Cat had a fight with Stranger Things teenager Noah Schnapp over the revelation of a private conversation in which the singer asked to be contacted by ST star Joseph Quinn. A screenshot of their conversation went viral after being shared by Schnapp on TikTok (post now deleted) – behavior which Doja Cat has labeled as "degrading", "exploitative" and "super embarrassing".

In the messages, Doja asks Noah if she can tell Joseph to contact her. "Wait no, does he have a girlfriend?" says Doja. Schnapp encourages her to Instagram and then directs her to Quinn's Instagram account, since the rapper doesn't know his Instagram or Twitter account.

Disturbed by the publication, Doja went live on TikTok to talk about "the whole dirty Noah Schnapp thing." “The fact that Noah did this. So he went and posted a private conversation between me and him, it's so incredible. And I'm not saying that this sums up his whole personality", added Doja. “Maybe he's a snake. But I didn't see it that way. He went ahead and shared information that I didn't feel comfortable sharing."
