Why Prince Harry and Meghan are afraid to show their children in public

Since the day when Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle left the functions of the British royal family determined to raise their children away from the United Kingdom, the couple's children have been seen less and less in the media or in various public activities. And, there is an understandable reason for this!

"Harry doesn't want to show his children publicly, not out of a desire to hide them, but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats," a friend of the couple told People. "He has a focus on children having as normal a life as possible without the fear of abductions or unexpected situations that may arise."

After a paparazzi chase in the car in which she was traveling in 1997, Princess Diana tragically passed away, and Harry witnessed these events as part of the royal family. Therefore, the safety of his two children, Archie and Lilibet, as well as his wife Meghan is at the center of his attention.  

For several years, he has focused his attention on a legal challenge against the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royal Persons and Public Figures over the February 2020 decision to remove personal protection in the United Kingdom, after he relinquished all functions in the royal family.

"As a father and husband, Harry is determined to ensure that history does not repeat itself," the same person said. During a court hearing in December last year, the Duke of Sussex explained why he does not feel comfortable traveling to his country and to his family.

"I cannot put my wife in danger, given my experiences in life. Therefore, I am reluctant to bring Meghan and my children back to England, precisely because of security," the prince said in an interview with ITV's "Tabloids on Trial."
