Actress Elle Fanning has revealed that she created an account on the OnlyFans platform as part of preparations for her role in the new series Margo's Got Money Troubles .

The 27-year-old actress spoke to People magazine ahead of the series' premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival on March 12, explaining that she wanted to better understand the digital world in which the character she plays is centered.
“There were a lot of things I had to do to prepare,” she said. “Of course, I use Instagram and TikTok, so I could observe them more closely. But we also had to take a closer look at OnlyFans. We created an account for me so I could understand how the platform works.”
At the series premiere, Fanning appeared in a red dress with a lace skirt and long sleeves. She was also photographed next to legendary actress Michelle Pfeiffer, who chose an elegant blue dress, combined with a satin shirt and dark suit.

The series is based on the 2024 bestselling novel of the same name by Rufi Thorpe and follows the story of Margo Millet, a young woman who drops out of college while trying to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. At the same time, she faces serious financial difficulties while raising her child alone.
In an attempt to rebuild her life, Margo relies on her mother Shaynne, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, a former Hooters waitress, as well as her father Jinx, a former professional wrestler played by Nick Offerman.
The series was created by David E. Kelley, and the cast also includes Nicole Kidman, who also serves as an executive producer.
Speaking about the project, Elle Fanning described the story as "touching and hopeful." According to her, the character she plays faces many challenges, but always finds the strength to move forward.
