For all fans of her music there is good news! Celine Dion has actually promised people that she will take to the stage again, despite her battle with the disease "Stiff Man Syndrome".
During an interview for "Watch What Happens Live", presenter Hoda Kotb spoke about the state of the artist, but also the possibility of returning to the stage. Hoda even goes beyond the interview by teasing Dion's manager:
“So what's going on? When will he perform again?”
Celine says, "Can I tell her?" Meanwhile, the manager asks him not to! "Celine Dion at the Paris Olympics? That would be amazing. I know she's going to perform live again, but not exactly when," the host continued, while Dion seemed to give her words a nod of approval.
Show host Andy Cohen chimed in, adding that he thinks it would be difficult for Dion to perform at the Olympics because of her syndrome, as it's "something she can't control."
But Kotb insisted an Olympic appearance was not completely out of the question.
"She will sing again and there will always be a date and time to do so," she continued. "I think she has a better medical regimen and is taking the right medication."
During an interview with Celine Dion on the "Today" show, the singer assured people that she will sing again, even if it means that she has to "crawl" on stage.
"I will get back on stage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will," she said. "I am Celine Dion and today my voice will be heard, not only because I have to, or because I need it, but because I miss it," Dion concludes.
