Pregnancy is one of the happiest times in a woman's life, but it can also be extremely challenging. And if the difficulties that come with pregnancy weren't enough, they also have to deal with insulting comments (intentionally or not) from people or advice from those who have no qualifications to give it.
29-year-old Eliana Rodriguez has been one of those people who have commented so much about her big belly during pregnancy. She gave birth to a son in June of this year, but throughout the months of pregnancy she has constantly received comments such as:
"Looks like you're having twins", "Looks like you're in pain", "Your pregnancy looks terrible", etc.
While a large pregnancy belly can signal specific health problems in some cases, in other cases, it is completely natural and is simply the way a woman's body changes.
Rodriguez was thankfully one of those cases. She and her baby were perfectly fine and healthy.
So, throughout the 9 months Eliana's only problem has been people's rude comments. Some of them have even told her that "it doesn't look elegant", or that she should "check that there aren't some children inside".
Once again, it seems that people have not understood how careful we should be with our words, especially to a pregnant woman.
