April Fool's Day is supposed to be a day of pranks, but for many people, some "lies" have crossed all limits. From jokes that start out as humor, to stories that end in tears, these are some of the worst hoaxes people have ever told (and experienced).
20 lies that went too far

"I'm pregnant" - A girl says she broke the news to her mother-in-law and she burst into tears of joy, then tears of disappointment.
“Your father and I are getting divorced” – A parent said this to his child. The rest is easy to imagine.
"I heard you're going to be fired" - A joke that ended in anxiety and sleepless nights.
"We've raised your salary" - Joy for a few hours, then disappointment that we wouldn't wish on anyone.
"You got a fine" - We've seen worse than that.
"I betrayed you" - One of the most painful, especially when the joke lasts for a long time, often ending in serious arguments.
"I have feelings for someone else" - 24 hours of anxiety and uncertainty about a "joke".
"I am seriously ill" - A lie that is not at all funny.
"Our house was stolen" - Family panic over something that didn't happen.
"I'm pregnant... but not with you" - One of those sentences that takes your breath away for a few seconds (or more).
"I've been arrested, let's talk later because I can't give you details" - Fear and anxiety for hours.
"I had an accident" – One of the most emotionally ruthless.
"I'm in the hospital" - The phone call that no one will take as a joke.
"I'm engaged to someone else" - Pointless drama for a day.
"They stole my Instagram" - Especially when you tell someone that they've sent you a lot of photos and videos that they don't want to be made public.
"You're adopted" – One of the most painful to hear.
"I'm at the airport, I'm leaving without telling you" - Terrible!
"You're going to move to another city for work" - Completely unnecessary stress.
"Someone is following me" - A joke that turns into real fear.
"Someone close to me has died" - A lie that should never be told.
Where should the boundary be set?

Although April Fool's Day is a joke, many of these cases show that not every "prank" is innocent. When strong emotions such as fear, pain, or loss are involved, humor can easily turn into trauma.
So, be careful!
