"If we do not want to close again," said Prime Minister Rama during a meeting with journalists this morning, "we must follow the rules." He said that starting from Monday, the mask will be mandatory on streets, squares, other open spaces and definitely in any closed environment.
"The mask has not been here either, nor in many mandatory places abroad. It is not even considered necessary and as you know it is a topic that is discussed all over the world. But from next week, the mask will be mandatory everywhere, except the house and the restaurant or bar where you are sitting at the table to consume that part of the time there. ”
He further spoke about the punishment:
Masks will be mandatory in every environment, on every street, in every public space and punitive measures will be applied to everyone on the light bill. Let there be no illusion, no individual who can avoid the fine. I am not doing a summary of countries that have applied the [mandatory] mask abroad. "All the countries in the region are moving towards this measure."
The Prime Minister added that the new rule will be taken care of by the State Police and the Municipal Police.
