Disney's production was inspired by Carlo Lorezini's "Pinocchio's Adventures" for children, who placed the subject in the Italian village of Collodi, the village where his mother lived. This place was so fond of her, as she often referred to herself as Carlo Collodi. Do you remember remembering small houses and narrow streets in "Pinoku" or not?
