OnlyFans founder dies: 43-year-old billionaire loses battle with cancer

Leonid Radvinsky, the owner of the popular platform OnlyFans , has died at the age of 43 after a long battle with cancer.

The news was confirmed by the company on Monday, while the family has requested privacy at this difficult time.

Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American billionaire with an estimated net worth of $3.8 billion, was the key figure behind the growth of OnlyFans . He bought parent company Fenix ??International Limited in 2018 and served as a major shareholder. Born in Odessa and raised in Chicago, Radvinsky studied economics at Northwestern University and entered the adult industry early.

In recent months, he was in talks to sell about 60% of OnlyFans shares , in a deal that would value the company at about $8 billion.

OnlyFans , founded in 2016, became a popular platform especially during the pandemic, becoming a significant source of income for content creators. The platform operates on subscriptions and keeps about 20% of the profits, while the rest goes to creators, bringing Radvinsky hundreds of millions of dollars in dividends over the years.
