Following recent statements made by Romeo Veshaj about his separation from Heidi Baci, the latter has reacted publicly and clarified her perspective on the relationship and the way she has been treated in the media.
On the daytime show "Wake Up" on Top Channel, Heidi said that silence can often be misinterpreted and taken as an affirmation, emphasizing that many of the things that have been said about her do not match her reality.
She said she felt upset and hurt by the way her previous relationship was talked about and the way she was presented publicly:
"I'm upset, I'm hurt by the way my ex-relationship has been talked about. I've thought about how that relationship actually went, how it was presented to the public. There are some things I don't like, I don't like when they talk about my point of view. Either it's silence or it's better not to deviate, because that seems to me like it mocks the people who supported you and the feelings of what was."
Heidi objected to the way Romeo described the length of their relationship, emphasizing that the relationship was not superficial:
"At least from my perspective it wasn't a three-month thing, the way it was presented. For my part, I will always speak only for myself. There were sacrifices, there was dedication, there were feelings and all these things."
She also reacted to the way the moderators made jokes about the duration of the relationship:
"As for the two-hour, three-hour, three-month part, this mockery, I don't know why two journalists that I don't really know, and I don't mean this in a bad way, I didn't know their existence, nor their names, should see a story so easily, a two-hour, three-hour one, which I didn't like, I found it very insulting."
Heidi added that the relationship was real and important to her:
"With all due respect to people who in 2026 can have relationships as they want, with all due respect to these people, but I am not that girl, that was not my relationship. It was very important to me. I would never make fun of the feelings of others, the public that supported me, and especially my own. Everything was very real, respect is not defined in these words."
She also focused on the way the separation was experienced, emphasizing that it was not as simple as Romeo presented it, with mutual respect:
"A promise was made that I didn't want to talk about, because it was something very important that couldn't be media fodder or clickbait. I just wanted to respect it. I understand why some things like that are said, jokes, I have absolutely no problem with whoever said them, but the problem lies with the person who allows these jokes.
"The relationship was important to me and no, the separation was not as respectful as it was presented, as it was sold. I found myself in a complicated, unexpected, difficult situation and out of respect for what I went through, no matter how much a person can keep quiet, keep it nice, it doesn't mean it doesn't weigh and going through it like that I don't think is the right way."
On the other hand, Romeo Veshaj, in an interview with X Press, stated a few days earlier that their relationship ended with mutual respect:
"My relationship with Heidi ended respectfully. We met on the inside, we dated for three months, and it didn't work out. We had different views on life. I respect that."
The relationship between Romeo and Heidi began during "Big Brother VIP Albania 3" and became one of the most commented stories of the edition, and even after the breakup, reactions and discussions about their relationship continue to attract attention.
