"The Super Bowl show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!"
The president called the performance an "insult to the Greatness of America" ??and claimed that it "does not represent our standards of success, creativity, or excellence," without further explaining the reasons.
Trump also complained that most of the performance was in Spanish, saying:
"Nobody understands a word this guy says."
Without giving details, he considered the dancing during the show to be disgusting, especially for the young children who were watching.
Trump then praised the successes of his administration and said Bad Bunny's performance was a "slap in the face" for those achievements. In his post, Trump did not specifically explain the reasons for the criticism. This happened even though the singer did not mention the president or his administration at any point during the performance.
Bad Bunny's performance reached historic proportions. He is the first singer to choose to perform almost exclusively in Spanish during the show. The rapper made sure to put on a show that represented his background in the best possible way.
