The Beckham family is reportedly open to making peace with their prodigal son, Brooklyn Beckham, but not with his wife, Nicola Peltz. Not surprising at all.
"David and Victoria love Brooklyn and are afraid of losing their son. They would immediately accept a reconciliation with him," a source told People magazine. Another source added:
"The Beckhams have no intention of settling with their son as long as Nicola is part of the whole thing."

However, the second source emphasized:
"This is not an ultimatum that Brooklyn will surrender to."
The same source also claimed that Brooklyn "has felt more support from his wife over these three years than from his parents in his entire life."
According to a source close to the Beckham family, "David and Victoria believe that in time, Brooklyn will return. But until then, there's nothing they can do."

Last week, Brooklyn, 26, posted a shocking statement on Instagram about distancing himself from his family, saying he doesn't want to "come to terms" with them.
Among other things, he claimed that his mother, Victoria, 51, "canceled the making of Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute" and then "hijacked" the couple's first dance as newlyweds, dancing "very inappropriately" with her.

However, tensions between Victoria Beckham and her fiancée, 31-year-old Nicola Peltz, appear to have started long before the couple's wedding in April 2022.
"Victoria and Nicola got along well for the first few months, but then Victoria started acting like a jealous girlfriend. She seemed very jealous of Nicola," a Peltz family source told People.
While a source from the Beckham family objected: "Nicola is the one who is jealous of Victoria. She wants to be famous."

According to reports, the Beckhams and the Peltzes have never had much in common.
"Their families are very different," a Peltz family source said, adding that one of the main points of friction is David and Victoria Beckham's extremely public lives and huge fame.
Another source added that, despite the split, David and Victoria have no regrets about how they raised their children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

Although Brooklyn has stated that his parents' "controlling" behavior has caused him "a lot of anxiety," the second Beckham family source insisted that they "have always supported Brooklyn in everything."
Neither David nor Victoria Beckham have publicly commented on their son's allegations.
