It's that time of year again, when Hollywood's biggest stars will gather to celebrate the best in film and television at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, which are expected to take place today, January 11th.
Among the nominated names are Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessie Buckley, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, Jeremy Allen White, Oscar Isaac, Chase Infiniti, Cynthia Erivo, Britt Lower, Rhea Seehorn, Seth Rogen and Noah Wyle.
This year's ceremony introduces the "Best Podcast" category for the first time, a novelty for the Golden Globes, which gives the opportunity to well-known figures from the podcast world to compete side by side with big names from film and television.
Nikki Glaser returns as host for the second year in a row, after last year becoming the first woman to host the ceremony alone.

Her ironic jokes directed at Ariana Grande, Zendaza, Harrison Ford and Glen Powell attracted a lot of attention last year. But this time she warned that this year she will be more careful, as she will try to maintain a balance between humor and the atmosphere in the hall.
As for the nominations, the film "One Battle After Another" leads the list with nine nominations, including nominations for actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Chase Infinity, as well as for director Paul Thomas Anderson.

DiCaprio competes with Timothée Chalamet "Marty Supreme," George Clooney "Jay Kelly" and Ethan Hawke "Blue Moon."

In the female actress category, the main contenders are Cynthia Erivo "Wicked: For Good", Emma Stone "Bugonia" and Rose Byrne "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You".

The Danish film "Sentimental Value" comes in second with eight nominations, including one for actress Renate Reinsve, who competes with Jessie Buckley, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Lawrence.
In the supporting roles categories, Ariana Grande, Elle Fanning, Adam Sandler, Sean Penn and Jacob Elordi are nominated, among others.
In television, “The White Lotus” leads with six nominations, followed by “Adolescence” with five, while “Only Murders in the Building” and “Severance” each have four nominations.
