September brings with it the need to revamp your wardrobe and possibly start new, healthier, and more effective habits.
It's definitely that month that always gives us that feeling of a new beginning. After the summer holidays, we get back into routine, adjust our schedules, set new plans and... we often feel the desire to do another "refresh" in our lives. One of the simplest (and therapeutic) ways to do this is to clean out our wardrobe.
But why stop at just clothes?
When you open your closet, you always find clothes that you haven't worn in a long time. The ones that no longer represent you, that don't make you feel good. Kept there just "for any occasion," but in fact they just take up space. The same thing happens with our habits. There are things that we have done for years, but that no longer serve us.
To feel "cleaner"
Just as you feel lighter when your closet is cleaned out, so too does it feel when you break habits that no longer fit with the current version of you.
A typical example, if you're a smoker? Switching from classic cigarettes to a better alternative, like IQOS. A small step that makes a big difference: less smell, no ash, a better choice over an old habit.
The next tip for this fall is: Stop thinking about trends that come and go. You need things that last. Unmistakable combinations and smart purchases.
1. Olive jacket and jeans
See for yourself and if this outfit doesn't "scream" autumn and elegance, we don't know what you're looking at.
1. Cherry + black
Two colors that don't require much effort on your part to look cool.
3. Pale yellow and dark blue
It's not yet time to add a pale yellow skirt or short dress to your "summer wardrobe" because you can style it with a thin blue sweater. Balance is key.
4. Contrasts are in fashion
If you're the type who dares with colors, dress like this and walk slowly to give the world enough time to admire you.
