Journalist and moderator Flavio Qarri has blasted Top Channel with criticism for the changes in the new season of Për'Puthen. Among other things, yesterday the news was spread that Neda Balluku will play the role of editor-in-chief this season of Për'Puthen, a decision that according to Flavio Qarri is an infringement on the work of journalists.
He explained his opinion further on social media:
"Oh Topi, don't beat her up. I'm sorry, but Balluku can't be editor-in-chief. I have nothing serious against it, but it's a violation of everything a journalist works for throughout his career and life."
Qarri expressed that in his opinion, Neda Balluku does not have the necessary competencies to hold the new role assigned to her:
"How can someone with no connection to that work run an editorial office with people trained for a job? I don't follow Për'Puthe and I don't believe there is much room for journalism there, but I followed the work of the editor-in-chief who was replaced and I am shocked."
"Make Nedë not an opinionist, but a shareholder if you want, but don't distort the word 'editor-in-chief'," he concluded his criticism.
