In an exclusive interview for "The Dalina Show" , on Andale Media, Dalina Buzi traveled to Montenegro, aboard Hetem Ramadani's yacht, for a candid conversation about meditation, stress and what he calls "success that kills".
Hetem Ramadani, one of the most successful Albanian entrepreneurs in the world, openly said, “Most entrepreneurs in Albania are not happy.” According to him, the disruption of the balance between life and work has led to an emotionally and physically sick society.
"Those who work hard from America, from Japan, are in a hurry and do not experience what they have done. Their mission is to have. During this period when they had the so-called success, were they happy? No. Success in the absence of happiness is suicide. If you do not experience the results of success because you do not have time, when will you live? I have changed these paradigms. I wanted to live."
For him, everything starts from a spiritual emptiness, a lack of meaning that is masked by villas, yachts, and positions.
"Most people buy things they didn't earn, out of spite for people they don't love. This success is suicide."
Through his company Salbatring, Ramadani has put his philosophy into practice, introducing meditation as a daily part of work for all employees.
"I told them, 'Your salaries are double.' That year and the next, Salbatring grew exponentially. I became the first Albanian to reach $1 billion in turnover with 13 employees."
But he doesn't just stop at business. Ramadan's strongest criticism is of politicians and the way they psychologically influence society.
"Our politicians react directly, they don't allow themselves to think for a moment. They do it because of ignorance, the market that exists. They are under endless stress and we who listen to them become addicted. Their unhappiness explodes."
"A great leader is a thinker. He must be proactive."
Ramadani says that the unhealed trauma of the Balkans has created leaders who are not at peace with themselves and, as a result, not with the people they lead.
"The Balkan mind is a stressed mind. We have trauma, it is anger. Leaders have been traumatized by failure to achieve goals, they have become leaders and have forgotten themselves. Their voters are stressed and they add to their stress."
"If you listen to a leader at 2 am, you lose sleep. And this is a weakening of the human being because they want to manipulate. A good leader creates well-being for others, not for themselves."
To close, Ramadani gave a philosophical reflection on karma and ego:
"What happens to these people who are in the prisons of Kosovo and Albania? They fought and were captured by that God I speak of. The ego has provided them with money and positions and they falsely identify with them. But karma is like the seed that you plant, it is the memory that you put into the field called the earth and what you sow you will reap."
An interview not to be missed:
