Shocking details have emerged from the serious case in the village of Frashër, Fier, where 26-year-old Ermalinda Rama killed her father, Anest Rama.
According to the investigation, not only the girl and her mother participated in the crime, but also another person. It is a 56-year-old man, identified as Çlirim Dogani, who helped the young woman kill her father. Initial reports indicate that the two had an intimate relationship.
How did the incident happen?
Initially, it is suspected that the girl hit her father in the private parts, knocking him to the ground, while Dogani intervened by holding the victim so that she could not defend herself. Then, the girl strangled him with a wire. It is also suspected that sharp and cutting tools were used during the crime.
The deceased's wife is also involved, who helped clean up the scene and cover up the evidence, including cleaning the victim's body of blood.
How the incident unfolded
The incident was revealed through phone intercepts, where the 26-year-old was heard communicating with Çlirim Dogan after the murder. Dogan, married and a father of two, is already under investigation for complicity in the crime.
At around 11:00 PM on Wednesday, the 26-year-old girl strangled her father and then called the police to report that her father had died as a result of an accidental event. However, during questioning by the Fier police, the veracity of the girl's testimony was doubted.
From the quick investigative actions, the authorities concluded that the victim had been strangled with a wire. Later, after the incident was revealed, the girl admitted to having committed the macabre crime.
The reasons that led to her father's drowning, according to the daughter
She confessed to the reasons that led her to commit this cruel act. According to the girl, her father treated her with fanaticism, did not allow her to dress the way she wanted or have fun. She told investigators that her father put pressure on her in her daily life and that they had very frequent arguments, as he did not give her money when she asked for it.
Testimonies of relatives
However, the testimonies of relatives do not confirm the perpetrator's version of the crime, as they state that she repeatedly raped her father.
The victim worked on a livestock farm in the area and often had marks on his face. He said they were caused by various incidents, and police sources confirmed that the victim was mistreated by both his wife and daughter.
Neighbors said they lived separately, although in the same yard.
The victim's brother, with the initials FR, confirmed that the deceased and his wife did not have a good relationship:
"We knew it before, they didn't go. She said: 'I don't love my husband. Take him and keep him. Take his pension and do whatever you want, I don't love him.' The couple has two children, two daughters. I found out from my sister-in-law, she called my wife, called her on the phone and said that he had died. I haven't spoken to my brother for about 2 and a half years, because she wouldn't let us talk. I knew they weren't getting along. I asked the other brother how he was," the brother said.
Meanwhile, the deceased's cousin said that the police had gone to the couple's apartment 10-15 times, as they had numerous conflicts. The village headman also stated to Top Channel that he had seen episodes of violence.
"He just complained, poor thing. They beat him, they hit him in the eye. What can I say... that poor thing ate, drank, sat and worked. We are very affected as a village. There are three brothers here. One of them took him to Greece where he worked there and made a house. The family told him 'get out of the house, we don't want you'", he told Top Channel.
Police have arrested all three people involved, while the incident remains under investigation.
