Jennifer Lopez knows how to celebrate a birthday properly, with glitz, glamour and a whole lot of luxury. The pop diva turned 56 (we know, unbelievable) and threw a super party in Turkey, at a luxury resort, where she had it all: a three-tiered cake, champagne in the air and J.Lo herself in a silver dress that shone brighter than the fireworks in the background.
Jennifer sang her new song "Birthday" in front of a giant cake, with the name "JLO" on top and fireworks on all sides.
"Name on top of the cake, it's my birthday / I'ma make this famous ass shake," she sang and kept her promise.
In the video she posted to Instagram, champagne bottles were seen floating in the air, Jennifer immersed in festive energy, twerking and playing with her hair like a born superstar (because, spoiler: she is one).
But this is just one stop in a busy summer for Jennifer. After performing in Turkey, she headed to Poland where she will perform songs from her latest album, on the "Up All Night" tour.
We recall that this is her first tour in 6 years, after the cancellation of "This Is Me... Live" in May 2024, a decision she called "painful but necessary" to focus on her children and herself.
In an interview with Interview Magazine she confessed:
"It was probably the hardest time of my life, but also the best. I did the work that needed to be done with myself."
And indeed, J.Lo has done a good job with herself. Because at 56, she doesn't look any older than 36.
