The decade-long love affair between George and Amal Clooney (those super-loving stars who say they've never been busy a day in their lives) is reportedly coming to an end.
Sources close to the couple have told foreign newspapers that the pair are seriously considering divorce, which, by the way, is very expensive, in every sense of the word.
Just a few days ago, however, George Clooney reinforced in an interview with CBS the incredible statement that he and his wife continued not to have a single fight throughout their entire marriage.
But anonymous sources have been spreading rumors for a few months about ongoing "tensions" between Amal and George Clooney. The detail that added even more to these allegations is the fact that Amal did not attend Clooney's Broadway debut, in the theatrical play "Good Night & Good Luck". This is not without reason according to sources, but because the famous couple is moving rapidly "towards a $500 million divorce."
Amal's absence from her husband's show was a "shock" to many, as she is not one to miss such important events. George, however, justified her absence by claiming that Amal was with their 7-year-old twins.
Amal's frustration is rumored to have stemmed from George Clooney's attempt to move their family to New York City, with the goal of pursuing his dream career on Broadway. Amal skipped the opening night as a "clear sign" of her disagreement with their move.
The parents of two children had initially "agreed that she and the children would stay in Europe and he would travel occasionally." However, the actor convinced Amal to move, which she did, but "without being firm." This later caused "a lot of tension" in their marriage, according to sources.
However, despite recent rumors, the Clooney couple appeared together last month as they walked the streets of New York holding hands.
