Demi Moore's Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her role in "The Substance" was the most important moment in her career. Although the 62-year-old actress was a contender, the golden statue ended up in the hands of Mikey Madison for her performance in "Anora."
A month and a half after the awards ceremony, Demi Moore has confessed how she really felt after the loss.
"The human part of me that has an ego, of course, felt disappointed," the 62-year-old star admitted in an interview with TIME magazine. "It would have been fantastic to have won, of course," she added.
However, as she revealed, she had predicted, even presaged, that Madison would triumph. During a promotional moment at the awards ceremony, she leaned over and said to her manager Jason Weinberg:
"I think Mikey will win."

However, the actress emphasized that she did not allow herself to be sad.
"I don't know why I knew, but I knew," Moore said. "I was very calm. I didn't feel hurt. I didn't feel any of that."
Moore previously won a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for her performance as Elizabeth Sparkle. The actress has also won awards from Critics Choice, BAFTA, Hamptons and Savannah Film Festivals, Cinémathèque française, SFFILM, Kansas City and others.
