Shkodra Elektronike was announced the winner of the 63rd edition of the "Song Festival" with the song "Zjerm" and will represent Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
Unlike the last editions – where the representative song at Eurosong was chosen through public votes – this time the winning song was announced through voting by a professional jury, the diaspora, and SMS votes within the country.
Elvana Gjata came in second place with the song "Karnaval", followed by Alis with "Mjegull" in third place. The Critics' Award went to Shkodra Elektronike and the song "Zjerm", while the award for best lyrics was given to Vesa Smolica who competed with the song "Lutem", whose lyrics were written by Eriona Rushiti.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland, following Nemo's victory with the song "The Code" last year. The contest will be held on 13–17 May.
