And while some might say "my body, my choice," the question remains: When did long eyelashes become a problem for manhood? Second, eyelashes aren't just there for aesthetics —they have a protective function. They help keep dust, dirt, and other irritants out of your eyes. By cutting them, you're opening the way for all of these to fall directly into your eyes, causing discomfort, redness, and even infection.
