Egli's sudden departure from the "Big Brother VIP Albania" house has caused strong reactions not only among the residents, but also among the public. Many followers of the program have exploded in harsh criticism of Gjesti, considering her as the main cause of the deterioration of her emotional and health condition.
After Egli left, Gjesti was seen giving a monologue in the yard, where he apologized to Egli and her family. He admitted that his behavior had been harsh, but claimed that he had done so to prevent Egli from reaching such a serious state. However, later, in a conversation with Shkëlzeni, the latter asked him why he did not keep her away so as not to hurt her, but stated that he loved her.
The contradictory statements have increased the public's anger, which accuses Gjesti of hypocrisy and emotional manipulation.
