
US officials to visit Europe this week to discuss ending war in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump's national security adviser, Mike Waltz, has said that senior members of the administration will meet with European officials this week to discuss how to end the war in Ukraine.
The push comes almost three years after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of its neighbor in 2022.
A day before this announcement, US media reported that Trump had had a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss steps towards a negotiated solution.
Israel withdraws from main Gaza corridor as part of ceasefire deal

Israeli forces withdrew from the Netzarim corridor on Sunday, Israeli and Hamas officials said.
Israelis' shock at the sight of three weakened hostages released on Saturday has increased pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to extend the ceasefire rather than return to fighting as the first phase of the ceasefire is set to end in early March.
Israel and Hamas appear to have made little progress in negotiating the second phase of the deal, which also aims to release more hostages. Talks were due to begin on February 3.
France announces 109 billion euros in investment in artificial intelligence

French President Emmanuel Macron announced this evening 109 billion euros in investments in Artificial Intelligence. The investments will be made over the coming years.
Macron announced the news on the eve of the international summit on Artificial Intelligence that begins tomorrow in Paris.
In mid-January, US President Donald Trump announced $500 billion in investments in Artificial Intelligence as part of the "Stargate" project.

Albin Kurti's Vetëvendosje leads with almost the same figures as at midnight, with 41.29%, or 306,556 votes, followed by PDK with 21.83%, or 162,033 votes, LDK with 17.75%, or 131,798 votes, AAK/NISMA with 7.68%, or 56,994 votes, Lista per Familjen with 2.31%, or 17,174 votes. While SRPSKA LISTA has received 3.96%, or 29,406 votes.
