"Squid Game" returns for one last round of games!
Netflix announced that the highly anticipated third and final installment of the Korean thriller will return to screens on June 27, 2025.

“Squid Game,” which remains the most popular series of late, will pick up where it left off in season 2, with Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) mourning the loss of his best friend, Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan) and “driven to utter despair by The Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who was hiding his true identity to infiltrate the game,” the official synopsis reads.

"Gi-hun persists in his goal of ending the game, while Front Man continues his next move, and the choices of the surviving players will lead to graver consequences with each round," he continues. "Can we hope for humanity in the cruelest of realities? Fans around the world are counting down the days until the final answer is revealed."

Although a trailer for season 3 has yet to be released, Netflix shared a 15-second teaser with fans on X in January 2025.

The short clip revealed a new character: Chul-su - a male counterpart to the terrifying killer doll Young-hee.
The first two seasons of Squid Game are available to stream on Netflix.
