Ten minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from "It Ends With Us" is being used by both sides of the warring parties, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, in their court saga against each other.
The video features the actors in their respective roles, Lily and Ryle, who according to the film's story are a couple. In this sequence, the pair are dancing, but the dialogue does not come from the script, it is an improvisation of the actors. And the way they perform has been turned into a "weapon of war" by their lawyers.
"Baldoni lets the camera roll, but does not interpret his character, Ryle, as he speaks to Lively in his own words," Lively's legal representatives claim, adding: "At one point, he brings his lips from the actress' ear to her neck, saying that she smells very good. None of this is in the description of the characters or based on the script. Baldoni was verbally harassing Lively, in a way that is unrelated to their roles."
On the other hand, Baldoni's lawyers say that Lively did not stop talking during the filming of that scene, "apologizing for the smell of her body products. Baldoni replied that she smells good. He then continued acting, slowly dancing as he thought his character would do with his partner, and this required some touching."
Recall that a month after Blake Lively's lawsuit against Justin Baldoni for defamation and sexual harassment, the actor and director responded with his own lawsuit, seeking $400,000 in damages.
