Marina Vjollca has confessed for the first time the difficult moments in her life related to motherhood and a health problem experienced by her husband, singer Getoar Selimi.
In a conversation with Alketa Vejsi, on the latter's 'podcast', the moderator emphasized that she went through a difficult pregnancy, where she was at risk of losing the child.
"The period when I became a mother was one of the most difficult periods in my life, due to the family situation I experienced with Geti and his illness. Despite this, I found the strength in myself and said that I had to keep working. I didn't stop the pace and kept going. It was a very difficult pregnancy, which was failing," she said.
Marina further added that after becoming a mother, her family was shocked due to Getoari's health problems. Considering it as the most difficult period of her life, the moderator emphasized that she chose to become strong and dedicate herself to work, as this was the right thing to do regardless of the situation.
"The period when I became a mother was one of the most difficult periods in my life, because of the family situation that I experienced with Geti, with his illness, I gave myself strength, I said that I had to work. I didn't stop the pace and I continued. This was one of the reasons that I became stronger. No one at that time knew what I was going through," said Marina.
Marina and Getoari became parents for the first time in 2021 with their daughter Marget. There have been several hints of a crisis in their relationship, but the pair continue to be together, overcoming the difficulties they have faced.
