The name of Shkodra Elektronike became known to most of us with the latter's participation in the "Song Festival 63".
The couple that makes up the musical band, Beatriçe Gjergji and Kolë Laca, stood out among the other participants of the Festival from the very beginning of the publication of competing songs for their special singing style.
"Zjerm", the representative song of Shkodra Elektronike, had a quick and sensitive embrace from the public, a factor that ensured them the victory of "FiK 63" and the right to represent Albania in Eurovision.

#1. Shkodra Elektronike consists of two Albanian immigrants from Italy
Kolë Laca and Beatriçe Gjergji are two Albanian immigrants who grew up in the neighboring country of Italy, far from their mother city, Shkodra.
Despite their different ages and life histories, the pair revealed that the goal of "finding a way to get home without getting a plane ticket" was shared by them.
#2. The musical genre covered by Shkodra Elektronike is called "Post Immigrant Pop"
Their group, formed by the lyricist and producer Kolë Laca and the singer and lyricist Beatriçe Gjergji, Shkodra Elektronike calls it a "musical project".
The focus of the music of their project is the revival of traditional songs from Shkodra with a contemporary approach of electronic music. (This is where the name of their project, "Shkodra Elektronike", comes to life.)

Their project started in 2019 and since then, the artists have performed at important national and international events.
In 2020, they released their first original song, "Ku e gjeta vedin", which won the Special Prize at the annual Shkodra Festival "Luleborë", and then continued with the release of the songs "Synin si kershia" and "Turtulleshë".
The song "E jemja nuse", composed by them and performed by Rezarta Smaja, won the third prize at the "Song Festival 60".
