Blake Lively has sued her colleague from the film "It Ends with Us", Justin Baldoni, for sexual harassment.
While there were rumors of a dispute between them on the set for months, things, according to Blake Lively, have gone even worse than said, as she claims that she was sexually harassed by the actor.
The pair worked together as the protagonists of the film "It Ends with Us", based on the novel by Colleen Hoover.
But the actress, 37, said in the lawsuit obtained by TMZ that Baldoni's behavior caused her "serious emotional harm." Baldoni, 40, also served as the film's director.
According to international media, the lawsuit states that a meeting was initially held to address Lively's claims and her demands for the role in the film. It was attended by various figures, including Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds.
Some of the demands that were addressed, according to the lawsuit cited by TMZ, included: not showing nude videos or images of women in front of Blake, not mentioning Baldon's past porn addiction, not discussing issues such as sexual benefits in front of Blake and others, as well as not asking questions about Blake's weight or mentioning her late father.
According to TMZ, the lawsuit says Sony Pictures, the film's producer, approved Lively's requests.
However, Lively alleges in the lawsuit that Baldoni did not adhere to these predetermined rules, as he participated in a "social manipulation" campaign to destroy her reputation.
Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, told People in a statement that Lively's lawsuit was intended to "fix her negative reputation." He also said that her allegations are "false, scandalous and intended to damage her publicly."
Freedman added that Lively caused trouble on the set of the movie, which is currently airing, "threatening not to show up on set or promote the movie."
It Ends with Us tells the story of Lily, played by Lively, a woman who has moved to a new town, where she meets and falls in love with a man named Ryle, played by Baldoni, who becomes abusive. Then her first love returns and her world changes.
Rumors about Baldoni's behavior spread earlier this year, when The Daily Mail published a report claiming Baldoni was "somewhat abusive" on the set of It Ends with Us. That same day, Page Six reported that Baldoni created an "extremely difficult" atmosphere for all the actors behind the scenes.
Rumors of a feud between Lively and Baldoni then erupted as the film crew embarked on the official tour. Baldoni did most of the interviews alone and did not pose for photos with the other actors during the film's New York premiere.
