How to stay healthy this winter?

Winter is the season for colds and flu, especially if you are constantly exposed to large crowds of people or have children in kindergarten. But is the cold inevitable? Not necessarily. Recent studies show that your mental attitude and stress level can play an important role in your chances of avoiding infections.


How do common colds affect you?


The common cold is a viral infection that spreads easily in public spaces. When someone coughs, sneezes or talks, micro-droplets in the air carry the virus that can spread to nearby people. Also, surfaces such as doorknobs, elevator buttons and work equipment are often contaminated and touching them can lead to exposure to the virus. But why do some people seem to avoid colds even when they are exposed? The answer may lie in your attitude and stress level.

With a few small changes in your attitude and an increased focus on mental health, you can strengthen your immune system and minimize the risk of disease.
