The 22-year-old son of Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Vanessa Paradis has been quietly working as a waiter at L'Area, a Lebanese restaurant in Paris, for the past two years.
"Jack is a great guy," owner Edouard Chueke told the Daily Mail in an interview published on December 7. "He stays out of the limelight, but he's worked here behind the bar and in the kitchen."
Although Jack quit his job "a few months ago", Edouard said he expects him to return next year.
"He was a good employee," added Edouard. "Good staff is hard to find."
In addition, Jack brought a friendly crowd of regulars to work, including his 25-year-old sister Lily-Rose Depp, who followed in the footsteps of their father Johnny in acting.
"Lily was mixing Caipirinhas behind the bar and really getting down to business that night," Edouard recounts of one particular night when the "Idol" actress came to visit the restaurant. "She was enjoying herself."
But it seems Jack's talents extend beyond just mixing drinks. After all, Johnny previously described him as a "very talented painter."
"He draws really, really well," the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star said in an interview. "He also plays music very well. He has a good voice and ear for music."
At the time, Johnny admitted that he was actually quite relieved that Jack "hasn't shown any desire to be an actor".
"My daughter, on the other hand, is one of the smartest human beings I've ever known," he said of Lily-Rose. "She has far surpassed myself and my friends. She is simply a genius."
"They are both great talents," added Johnny. "I'd like to get them out of the acting world. But the kids will make their own decisions. That's what they want to do."
