Confrontations and clashes have included the third edition of "Big Brother VIP Kosova", where the recent participation of Atilla Kardeshi, the ex-husband of Drenusha Latifi, has sparked a great debate in the public opinion. Drenusha Latifi, who previously accused Atilla of physical violence during their marriage, has expressed that she no longer feels anything for him, beyond the disappointment she experienced in the past.
When asked what was the first thought that came to her mind when she saw Atilla at home, Drenusha said:
"Until recently, I had a kind of anger because we couldn't have a cooperation for the sake of the children, but now I don't feel anything. I am absolutely not impressed by this man.”
She mentioned that she has always been open to this cooperation, but now 2 years have passed and he has always tried to portray her as a liar and a bad mother. Bravely, Drenusha addressed Atilla, calling him a physical abuser.
But Atilla's entry into the BBVK has provoked harsh reactions and strong criticism on social networks. Many followers have condemned the production's decision to give space to a person accused of violence, considering it an unacceptable promotion of violence against women.
The comments of the outraged public: "Scandal!!! Tonight you and Olsa Muhameti 'killed' the woman, you gave voice, space and power to violence! Today you are the degradation of television as an institution! Olta Gixhari, Jonida Vokshi and all the women of Bigu, if you don't distance yourself from the abuser, you are his supporters!"
"This is a pure promotion of violence! Shame on the production for allowing something like this. It is unfortunate that Drenusha is in the middle of this situation and has to deal with it this way. This is neither acceptable nor fair and it is disappointing to see such a negative approach to a program that is supposed to entertain."
"I invite a total boycott of the "BBVK", total! Take it, shame! I have no words to describe this violence that is being done on our televisions. You're bringing back a woman's wounds!”
(You can find other comments in the post above).
Among them, Olti Curri also reacted:
The "Big" of Kosovo and the Kosovo Clan today carried out an assassination. The entry of Drenusha Latif's ex-husband, a rapist denounced several times by her publicly, but also to the police, is the lowest point that a television media of this size can go. At first, the television will enjoy the fact that this action will make noise and clicks, but after that it will take years to clean the dirt that pollutes ethics, sensitivity, respect for women who have often lost their lives tragically in similar situations", he said. .
Further, it continued:
"Today, Klan Kosova legalized violence in the service of spectacle and clicks, proving that they are not capable of playing games within human ethics. Woe to the children of Drenusha who have seen their mother (in the photo that we have also seen) bathed in blood and tonight they are facing the cause of the wounds, powerless to protect their mother."
A few months ago, Drenusha publicly accused her ex-husband of violence, showing photos and evidence of physical violence. Her exposure to a fresh wound like that of violence is extremely serious and perhaps one of the biggest mistakes a reality show can make.
