It is said that Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum still keep in touch with each other even though they ended their relationship. Their separation, according to rumors, was by agreement, leaving no room for drama.
"There was no dramatic clash between Channing and Zoë. They really just broke up and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways,” a source told Page Six.
The source added that the "Batman" actress, 35, and the "Magic Mike" star, 44, handled the split very maturely, agreeing that they work better as friends than as romantic partners. Meanwhile, Zoë's father, Lenny Kravitz, who earlier this summer revealed his daughter's upcoming wedding plans, isn't disappointed by Tatum.
"He understands that these things happen and he just wants them both to be happy," the source said.
The anonymous person also said that the "Fly Away" singer and Tatum were very close over the past few years.
"Tatum adored Zoë and had a strong relationship with Lenny as well. The feeling was mutual," says the source.
Since the split, another source revealed that the "Big Little Lies" star has been in good spirits despite the incident. She was spotted dancing the night away at her private Halloween party, as she's also been busy filming her upcoming movie Caught Stealing in NYC with Austin Butler.
Tatum and Zoe first started dating in 2021 after meeting on her directorial debut Blink Twice. The pair "awakened" rumors of a possible relationship between them after they were seen together in New York, while two years later they announced their engagement, in 2023.
The "She's the Man" actor was previously married to actress Jenna Dewan in 2009 and they divorced in 2018. The pair have a daughter, Everly, 11. After his split from Jenna, Channing was in a relationship with singer Jessie J from 2018 to 2020. Meanwhile, Zoë married Karl Glusman in 2019 only to divorce in 2021.
