The massive floods in Spain, which have so far killed 205 people, have sparked a wave of solidarity across the country with hundreds of people arriving in affected areas to help clear the mud.
Volunteers in Spain have started to leave the worst-hit areas of Valencia after taking part in clean-up operations after what has been called the worst natural disaster in decades.
The number of people who have come to help has been so high that the authorities have asked them not to drive or walk, as they are blocking the roads needed by the emergency.
Parts of Spain were bracing for more heavy rain at the weekend as hundreds of soldiers were deployed to help rescue efforts.

The Pentagon has said it will send an additional $425 million in military aid to Ukraine as Kiev prepares to confront Russian forces augmented by more than 10,000 North Korean troops.
The new aid package, announced by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, includes weapons to be withdrawn from existing US stockpiles, including air defense interceptors for the nation's advanced surface-to-air missile systems, ammunition for artillery missile systems with high mobility and 155 mm artillery and armored vehicles and anti-tank guns.
The aid package announced by the Pentagon brings the total amount of military aid the US has provided to Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February 2022 to $60.4 billion (€55 billion).
Lebanon/ Israeli airstrikes have destroyed Dahiyeh, claiming 45 lives in northeastern Lebanon

Israel's air force attacked the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh overnight, destroying dozens of buildings in several neighborhoods.
Hours after the strikes, smoke was still rising from the ruins of some of the collapsed structures.

Lebanon's Health Ministry said more than 2,800 people have been killed and 13,000 wounded since October 8, 2023, when Hezbollah began firing rockets almost daily at Israel, prompting retaliation.
Israeli ground forces invaded southern Lebanon early last month.
