Russia begins nuclear drills simulating retaliatory strikes
Russia has begun nuclear drills, including test missile launches for a simulated retaliatory strike. President Putin justified this decision with "new external threats and dangers", stressing the importance of keeping strategic forces always ready.
The exercises included the launch of a missile from the Plesetsk base on the Kamchatka Peninsula and the launch of other missiles from the nuclear submarines Novomoskovsk and Knyaz Oleg. Massive flooding in Spain after heavy rains

Trump supporter Steve Bannon is released from prison
Steve Bannon, one of the main supporters of former President Donald Trump, has been released from prison after a four-month sentence. Bannon was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, on Tuesday morning, with plans to hold a press conference in Manhattan later in the day.

93 killed by Israeli attack on Gaza
A massive Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza has left 93 dead, including 25 children, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. The attack hit a five-story building in Beit Lahiya, which housed about 200 displaced people. Kamal Adwan hospital director, Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, reported that the institution is overwhelmed by the wave of wounded and that the health system is in complete collapse.

Meanwhile, Israel's latest offensive in northern Gaza, centered on the Jabaliya refugee camp, has claimed hundreds of lives and forced tens of thousands of people from their homes. Palestinian authorities report that the death toll in Gaza has already exceeded 43,000 and over 100,000 injured.
