Gisele Bündchen will become a mother for the third time! She is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, according to a source exclusive to People.
The 44-year-old supermodel is having a quiet period while expecting her baby. She has decided not to reveal the baby's gender until the birth and is determined to experience this special moment through a natural home birth.
"Gisele is very happy in Miami and loves her life there. Everyone feels good," says the source.
Bündchen feels "very lucky" to have met Valente, who is a jiu-jitsu instructor. The pair were friends at the beginning, but they started a more serious relationship more than a year ago. "She is excited about the baby and feels good. She is a few months old and has planned a home birth,” the source added.
On Monday, Oct. 28, a source exclusively confirmed to People that Bündchen and Valente, 37, are expecting their first child together.
"Gisele and Joaquim are happy about this new chapter and look forward to creating a calm and loving environment for the whole family," the source said.
Bündchen and her ex-husband, former NFL player Tom Brady, have two children together: son Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11. They announced their separation in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage and have joint custody of the children.
Gisele and Joaquim were first seen together in November 2022 and for several months denied their romantic relationship.
