Kylie Jenner understands that sometimes some friendships, like hers with Jordyn Woods, 'need a break.' The 27-year-old entrepreneur said in an interview with Elle that she was "heartbroken" when her close relationship with Woods became strained in 2019.
"Whenever something happened, good or bad, and I needed to call someone, she was always there for me. Losing such a person made me feel very lonely, but I had to go through something like that."
Jenner further reflected:
“I learned so much, gained so much independence and was there for myself. It helped me grow up a little bit because we were so connected."
However, Jenner confesses that she didn't completely cut ties with her friend: "We always tried to talk about things that happened, so it was never a complete breakup; it was a necessary distance," she said.
Also, during a May episode of "The Kardashians," Kylie confessed that she "thought there was a healthier distance in her relationship with Woods," adding that they "talk at least once a month" to each other.
The conflict with Woods started when the latter kissed Tristan Thompson, who was then the partner of Khloe Kardashian, Kylie's sister, an action which resulted in the destruction of the friendship between the two. However, it seems that past grudges have been left behind and the girls' relationship is now on calm waters.
