Liam Payne, 2 weeks before he passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, said he wanted to meet ex-One Direction member Niall Horan.
"I think I'll go and greet him," said the 31-year-old in a Snapchat video. "It's been a long time since Niall and I have spoken. We have a lot to discuss and I would like to clarify some things with that boy".
He further clarified that he has no quarrel and just wanted to talk to his friend. Payne was spotted on October 2, 2024 dancing at Niall's concert. Later, in a video that circulated online, Payne danced and even posted photos with girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
The news that Liam Payne passed away shocked the world. He fell from the balcony of the CasSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The local police issued a statement, stating that the deceased had very serious injuries.
Pablo Policicchio, a spokesman for the Ministry of Security in Buenos Aires, told the AP that Payne "jumped himself from the balcony of his hotel room." Policicchio also said police were called from the hotel to an emergency involving "an aggressive man who had consumed drugs and/or alcohol."
