Although King Charles appears to have returned to his regular public engagements, he has also been receiving cancer treatment after revealing his diagnosis earlier this year.
But according to the Daily Mail, the monarch has decided to take a break from these treatments due to an almost 11-day royal tour. And it seems that King Charles has received confirmation from the medical team for this part.
Starting on October 18, the king will be on several official visits to Sydney and this engagement marks Charles' first trip to Australia since he became king and head of the Commonwealth. The tour will also mark another first engagement for Charles as monarch at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
According to the same source, "His Majesty will continue his cancer treatment after he returns from this trip, but doctors are happy that he is able to stop this treatment for a short time."
The Royal Palace has not officially commented on the report, but they have been active in promoting it through photos of the King and Queen Camilla at their recent public appearances and events.

Conscious of his health, King Charles has acknowledged the fact that he is prioritizing his recovery efforts, without forgetting his role as king.
