It seems that the singer is trying to clear the "dust" of the rumors that have been circulating for a long time about her and the fact that she was related to the actor Ethan Slater, before the latter officially divorced his wife.
In an interview for the cover of "Vanity Fair", the 31-year-old said that Ethan did not leave his wife for her, in the period when they started dating.
"The most frustrating part was seeing so many people believe the worst version of our relationship," Grande said, addressing the fact that people are prone to believe the tabloids and everything the media fabricates.
"There couldn't be a less accurate depiction of a human being and a relationship as a couple, and of course it hurt me quite a bit," said the artist, adding that she and Slater had gotten to know each other while filming Wicked ".
