Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, has 'explained' why the rapper had 1,000 bottles of baby oil (which is also used as a lubricant) in his house. The substantial amount of bottles was found after police raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
"I don't know where this number came from. I can't imagine it being 1,000. I'm not sure if the baby oil is related to anything," he told TMZ, for the documentary "The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment."
When Agnifilo found out that it was assumed by the police that baby oil was used as a "lubricant for orgies", the lawyer said: "I suppose. I don't know if it takes thousands, a bottle of baby oil goes a long way." Further, he justified the presence of such a large number of bottles with the hypothesis that the rapper may have bought them in bulk.
Further, he added: "I mean, he has a big house. He buys things in large quantities. I believe there's a Costco (branch where various things are bought) wherever he has a house." However, of course, it does not seem very convincing statement.
In the 14-page lawsuit filed in Diddy's case, federal agents say they found a large amount of baby oil and lubricants at the rapper's home. Authorities believe the amounts were used in Combs' drug- and alcohol-fueled sex-crazed parties. Also, it is thought that after the girls with whom the party participants abused, drugged and further, the sexual activity with them was recorded. It is thought that the baby oil was also used to make the floors slippery so that they could not leave.
"Diddy" was arrested in the middle of the month by the New York police, while he was staying in a hotel. His arrest follows multiple charges and an ongoing investigation into trafficking, rape and violence. A source told Page Six that: "The hip-hop icon cooperated with police." So far, the reasons for the arrest are still unclear and have not been made public. Combs is due to appear in federal court in Manhattan on Tuesday.
