After giving birth to her third child, rapper Cardi B has no intention of holding back in the face of people's criticism of her quick return to the gym and physical exercises to get her body in shape as soon as possible.
"You have to deal with the newborn and not have your mind on your body," said one user on the X network (formerly Twitter) after a post of the singer doing track exercises; "Just because you're famous doesn't mean motherhood takes a back seat," added another.
That was enough for the 31-year-old to respond to the rumors, as she took all the criticism very personally.
Cardi B appeared to take the comments very "personally" and asked followers to stop commenting on her weight or exercise habits.
The singer made a post on the X network, stating that:
“This is my third baby and I'm not lifting weights, I'm not doing pull-ups, I'm not doing squats, none of that…just cardio. Sometimes to avoid postpartum depression, you need to keep your mind busy and for me working and staying active is one of the solutions,” she says.
Reflecting on the criticism, the rapper did not forget to mention the fact that they were the same followers who "nailed" her with insulting comments on social networks when she gained weight.
"But you know what's funny? You dragged me when I gained 15 pounds because I was five months pregnant, but now you're worried and want to talk about the pressure? You all told me I was pregnant to avoid work now that you see I'm working, is it something else? So it's taking this personal, but I know you'll always have something to say about me."
This is my third baby and postpartum is a little different from my first two... I'm not doing heaving lifting, no muscle straining, squatting none of that... just cardio. Sometimes to avoid postpartum depression you gotta keep your mind busy and for me that's work and staying... https://t.co/I6VFBsAxGO
