Ben and Jen shocked us when they appeared together for lunch with their children and according to sources, they were kissing and holding hands. However, the people close to them say that even after these close moments, the pair is still continuing with the divorce proceedings.
"They had lunch for the children to meet. Jen is trying to be friendly with Ben. They are proceeding with the divorce. They are also working amicably on the details related to finances", said the anonymous person.
Further, it continued:
“Divorce is never easy, but Jennifer will not be selfish. Children are always happy and get along well. They rejoice when they see children who rejoice. Happy children are their priority.
The former celebrity couple was photographed having lunch with their respective children at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California on September 14. A source told Page Six that Ben and Jen were standing at the Polo Longue and that they were holding hands and kissing. "The children are with them, but at separate tables," added the anonymous person.
The paparazzi then photographed them chatting in a parked car. J.Lo wore a pair of dark jeans and a black, long-sleeved crop top. Affleck, a pair of jeans, a dark blue shirt and sneakers.
The unexpected news came after J.Lo filed for divorce on August 20 this year, on her and Ben's wedding anniversary in Georgia.
