It seems the artist is working on her seventh album, and sources say she has a stronger push to push the project forward: her fiance. According to an interview that Gaga gave for the cover of "Vogue" magazine, she said that the new album will be released in February next year and the person who pushed her the most towards this artistic venture was precisely her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
"Michael is the person who asked me to do a new pop album," she says. "He said to me: "Soul, I love you. But you have to make pop music."
The singer's fiance also spoke during the interview revealing details of Gaga's new project, as he added that she is very happy to be creating new music.
"Like anyone else who would do the same for the person they love, I encouraged her to lean into the new album's innovations," he told Vogue. "On the Chromatica Ball Tour, I saw a lot of passion in her and I want her to keep this passion alive by making new music. Something that makes him happy and not only!".
Gaga did not reveal many details about the new album, but the first hit is expected to be released in October. But, she did not spare the fact that the creative process for this album is in complete contrast to when she recorded "Chromatica" in 2020.
"I feel like this new album, in many ways, is a place of happiness. Michael and I are really excited to be making this happen and consider it our first feature production as a couple.”
