Apparently, the rumors have echoed in the ranks of other actors, while Jenna remembers the moment when one of her colleagues asked her about this situation during filming.
"I was on set with Richard E. Grant and he came up to me and said, 'Oh, so you and Johnny?', and I laughed because I don't know this person," she said of the 61-year-old star.
We remember that last fall, when the rumors started, Ortega responded briefly by sharing a statement on Instastory and rejecting all the rumors about this supposed romance.
"This is so ridiculous I can neither laugh nor cry. I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life. So please stop spreading lies and leave us alone."
Even the famous actor, through his legal representative, reacted to these rumors by denying any connection or relationship between the two.
"Johnny has no personal or professional relationship with Jenna Ortega. He has never met her, nor spoken to her. He has not collaborated in any project with her, nor does he intend to. He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumors that aim to damage his profile and career."
