Almost three decades after her death, the late Princess Diana continues to remain in the minds and hearts of many people who are very curious about everything related to her life. But a new documentary is expected to reveal new details from her death in 1997.

According to People, a new three-part documentary titled "Who Killed Diana" will explore the circumstances of the late princess' death at the age of 36. On the other hand, "Deadline" magazine adds that the team of this documentary will bring rare interviews, including sources and witnesses seen minutes after the tragic accident, something that is expected to shed light on the sensational death that continues to receive the attention of the whole world from the first day it happened.

"Who killed Diana?" there will be a cast of familiar characters who will bring the famous story of the princess into the historical context of how the events happened. The team behind this documentary is the same one that made the 2023 Who Killed Jill Dando documentary and the 2022 Netflix Mystery of Marilyn Monroe.

There is still no release date, but it has been revealed that this documentary will be divided into three parts.  

"Exploring legendary women through investigative documentaries is a passion of mine," said producer Emma Cooper. "Just like we did with 'The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe,' we've taken a story the world thought it knew, as we aim to bring truths that haven't been told before. I'm committed to approaching the story of to this beloved and iconic woman with previously untold information."

Diana died along with two other people in a car accident in Paris and among the victims were her boyfriend, billionaire Dodi Al Fayed and driver Henri Paul.

"There are very few moments like these in history," royal biographer Ingrid Seward said on the 25th anniversary of Diana's death. "But her death has touched millions of people around the world."
