Sabrina Carpenter has published one of the songs of the new album "Short'n Sweet". The song is titled "Taste" and talks about a love triangle, where he warns his ex's girlfriend that when she kisses and is with the boy, she will feel the taste of Sabrina.

The video clip recreates scenes from iconic films like "Death Becomes Her" and "Psycho" and shows exactly 2 women who are about to kill each other for the love of their ex, but in the end, they kiss and become friends together.

Carpenter was rumored to be in a brief relationship with Mendes in February 2023. They were spotted together a few times, until Mendes got together with his ex, Camilla Cabello, who may just be the 'other woman' he's for Sabrina speaks in song.

People think that the song is referring to the famous former couple, due to the title of the album "Short 'n Sweet", which is not a reference to a person's height at all. In an interview with Apple, Carpenter said:

Another detail is Ortega's purple dress, which reminded people of the dress in the same color that Camilla wore during the public appearance with Shawn on the red carpet.
